Hi MullyFX
Amazing , that is the EXACT same Z-fold reverb tank I have, & that I wrote about above.
I have have about 3 of these as NOS still in the original packing. Somewhere in the long term storage boxes in the workshop.
Can you please remind me who the manufactures was? As I can't see it in your pictures.
It even has the line about, made by the beautiful girls.
In one of your pictures is that pool of glue around the capacitor, or is it sticky & wet, like the cap has leaked? The 6th picture, cap next to R4 & R9.
Once again - a great find.

it's O.C. Electronics Inc.
and it seems to be glue... at least from what I can tell.. it's neither wet nor sticky... but then again it IS an old unit.
how would a leaking cap sound like ??
it seems to be working quite well - although I've only tested the mono part so far. it has stereo ins and outs for channel b on the back (RCA connections only though) |

Hi MullyFX
It probably is glue, it was difficult toi ell from the Pictures. They used clear glue a lot in the older stuff.
I wouldn't worry about it then.

Hi MullyFX & guys
It seems that the company changed names, somewhere along the lines. The ones I have are identical in every way including the Made by beautiful girls. But the company is different. I will see if I can find the ones I have, & report back at some later time.
If anyone wants to volunteer a "few years" of their time, to come & help me sort out, & reorganize all my boxes of NOS parts???? Regards Dr. Bob |

Hi timbo
You & Laurie are from the same neck of the woods it seems. A swell as Shake The Devil. If you remember I fixed his Shin-Ei Wah last year.
Me I'm down in Melb. & that's a long drive back a& forth every day.
Bring back some dead stuff back from the UK, & we'll fix it together.
Regards Dr. Bob |
