Hi guys
Just thinking of doing some experimenting by adding a few other pedals alongside my ME-50. The ME currently comes straight out the front of my amp (my amp pre-dates FX loops BTW) and I was wondering what order the other fx should go in & whether in front or after the ME?
I was going to use an RPQ-10 for a little bit of solo boost and also a RDD-10 as well. I use the ME basically as separate stomps and not the patches if that makes a diff.

depends on what you use your ME-50 for. if you use it for distortion, i would put it close to the start. if you use it for delay, put it at the end. just experiment really. |

Yeah cheers StratoSphere, I thought it would really just be a matter of experimenting but was interested if anyone else had a similar setup.
I noticed in another thread you have a Shin-ei fuzz wah... I got one too but it's just the wah and unfortunately even though the board and everything is still in it all the wiring has been cut out and I have no way of knowing how to re-wire it back up. The schematic is on the underside of the faceplate but that's like looking at braille to me lol.
thanks Rod |

Hi shakethedevil What part of Oz are you in, maybe we could do a Dr. Bob will look at it for you deal.
I do understand the Schematics. maybe you can take a pic of the Schematic & post it here, or to my PM mailbox.
Can't be too hard to rewire back to original.
Regards Dr. Bob |

Hi Dr Bob,
Man that would be pretty special if you could help out. I'm up on the Gold Coast. Anyway I've attached a couple of pics of the guts and schematic. Most things still seem to be intact (whether they are active or not) so I was just guessing it just needs all the wiring re-connected. I have no idea how or when it was butchered lol, I've had this thing since about '77 adn I'm positive it wasn't me, unless it was one of those old drunken 80's nights of "let's mod the pedal for fun!" hehe.
See what you think, I can do a clearer one of the schem if needed. I remember it being a pretty good wah so I thought I'd use it instead of the expression pedal on my ME-50 and delegate that to volume instead.
cheers for your time mate Rod
