Anyone used the Behringer acoustic simulator? I am looking at the AC2 or AC3 pedals as a comparison.

Hi One-Way

I scored one of these in one of my bulk buys.
It's not quite as good as the AC-2.

I played with mine for about 2 hours & struggled to get a decent sound out of it.
But that's only my opinion.
Like I wrote in the other thread, this is level sensitive as well, & will clip very quickly, set your Strat to about 3 to 5, maybe a bit more if you have low output p/ups.

Hey One-Way, you can PM me, if you want a longer more in depth dissuasion on this subject.

How's that OD-1 going after it's 100,00Km service....

Regards Dr. Bob

I've had the AM100 for a while. Not a bad pedal but I found it hard to get a good acoustic sounding guitar from it.
I guess it was good for the price.

Thanks guys for the input.
The OD1 is going great but I have not useed it much lately.
I guess nothing beats having the real thing (acoustic guitar) to play thru. If I get a chance I may try both the AM100 or Boss AC2/3 in a music store.
