Its THE Multi-effects pedal tbh. Alot of musicians have dropped racks and countless floor pedals for it like Vai did. Anyway you could always do something like this:

With a bigger "shelf" you could make one hold 15 easy. Thats holding over 10 and its a medium size one I think Drill holes in that AND hide your cables!

See thats pretty much what I'm doing :) Except we're making it differently, it will be taller and have all the cables and plugs under the pedals, with the part the pedals sit on removable to reach the undersection. Any leads longer than those little ones you get with the BCB boards will go through holes under the board to their destination (for the LS-2 etc) and there will be small holes above each pedal for the daisy chain power supplies to come through. All in all its quite similar to that Ikea idea (haha) except mine will have a removable lid too, so its easily portable in the boot of said clio. XD

Oh, and mine wont use velcro. Looking like Cable Ties at the moment, UNLESS I can find boss-style velcro that just runs along the rubber parts without touching the label. thats the perfect solution I had in the car today :)
