Hey All, Awhile back I accidentally used my old ACA adapter (14.5V) on a PSA pedal...I knew something was wrong because the pedal hummed really bad Could damage result from using an ACA adapter on a PSA pedal or is there some kind of protection circuit? I can't remember which pedal it was?

Yes! Depends on the pedal, but there is an 11V protection diode in most PSA pedals and the ACA supply is 12V+. Prolonged ACA supply can damage a PSA pedal... The good news is that if it does happen to be damaged, it is almost always repairable. Which pedal was it?
