Hi all I don't know about you guys but I have noticed in the last six months that shipping costs have gone up generally on ebay not just for Boss pedals. The general cost of selling items now is really quite expensive when you add up listing cost+FVF+ paypal cost+shipping cost+packaging+time. I think most people that sell on ebay on a regular basis have had no choice but to increase thier prices in line with ebay costs or take a loss and lets face it nobody is doing it to make a loss but as with most things in this world there are llways a few F...ing idiots that take the p...s and somebody that charges $105 to ship an fx pedal as far as I am concerned fits that discription.

yes, shipping costs have gone up quite a bit.
I used to be able to get pedals from the USA under what was called "letterpost small packages" $4.85 including $100 insurance (most boss pedals would pack 1lb and fit this critera.
Now, for cross border and tracking, can't be done for less than 12-15.
In Canada, used to be able to mail a pedal for $8, now its $13.00.
never mind ebay fees getting up there. I have gone back to local classifieds as I sold a $570 item on ebay, and the FVF was $39 or so, listing charges and the killer is accepting payment by PayPal which was another 18.00 or so.
If you have some good gear that is in reasonable demand in your market online classifieds like clist and kijiji are a great FREE option
