Please file an excessive shipping report on this dickhead.
All of his effects are similar ripoffs for shipping. The only
way to stop this profiteering is to file a report. Simply scroll
to the bottom of the page to find the link. This shit needs to
stop. WE can help put an end to this.

Greetings all. Unit in question was a Univox Super Fuzz. A really
sick sounding unit that is rarely seen in these parts. Low starting
bid with shipping at $35.00 (US) for Canada and the US. Typical
shipping ripoff. Someone had asked a question that essentially
called him out on the excessive cost of shipping and dude basically
replied don't like it, don't bid. Okay, I didn't like it, I didn't
bid but I Goldurn well reported the bastard. To Ebays credit, they
had pulled the auction within one hour. They also pulled four other
fuzz boxish auctions this dickhead was running. Again with $30 -$35
shipping cost.

A ripoff is a ripoff. If you don't like it don't bid. Yeah that is
a truism. But if you see something of a similar nature, report these
people. Shipping ripoffs have gone on for far too long and Ebay is
finally being proactive about the issue.

If you scroll down on an auction listing you will find a " report
this item " link. Use it. Over time sellers that do this with regularity are going to finally get the message. Ebay can be a pain in the ass. Help fix problems like this.

Check out his listings. Are the Armstrongs a wee bit high for shipping ? File a report.

Peace and Bacon Grease

I have been looking at this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/BOSS-SD-2-SD2-DUAL-OVERDRIVE-MANUAL-NO-PEDAL-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ370084338157QQihZ024QQcategoryZ22669QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

It is asking for $15 to post a manual to Canada. Simply put it in a normal envelope and the actual cost is less than $2. I have emailed the seller and they have declined to respond.

The ad says "International Buyers - All shipping costs are final and not to be negotiated at auctions end. While this should be obvious, many of my foreign buyers have tried to persuade me to do these things I will not.", but it is still a rip-off.

I tried the "report this item" button, but there doesn't seem to be anything that relates to excessive shipping.

Laurie,

1 )At the bottom of the listing, click "Report this item".
2 )Reason for report, select " Listing Policy Violations "
3 )Detailed reason, select : " Circumvention of Ebay Fees "
4 )Additional information, select: " Excessive Shipping and Handling. "
5) Continue and you will have a small box to add comments.

Good on ya. I'll report it as well.

( Report filed @ 8:01 am EST )

I saw the re-listing before I saw your post Racer. I wholeheartedly agree with you. As much as E-bay is trying to restructure & or regulate certain aspects of the entity, they ought to have more astringent guidelines about people that gaff others on shipping. I can understand a couple of bucks for material and time, but bastards that use shipping as a padding to the final bid need to be burned at the stake. I see it time and time again, & I don't think E-bay has the power/gumption to stop it. The sellers, not the buyers, are their bread & butter, go figure. First time I've seen I2I with you. Scary!!!
