I was wondering if anyone had one of these or had any experience with one.
It's basically the mother of all tremolo boxes. Has an insane amount of features and options. It's also analog but controlled by digital circuitry so it has things like tap tempo and can use expression pedals. Of course this means it also has the mother of all pricetags (almost $400).
So, has anyone at least been able to play around with one or have a friend who has one? Is it worth that much?
no..it's the first time i've seen one..i remember guyatone pedals from years ago an they sounded pretty good..i knew a bass player who had one of their flangers and it sounded great...but do you really need so many features in a tremolo pedal...?? $400 for one pedal is a lot...i think line6 do a tap tempo tremolo pedal for a lot less if you need the tap function..if your looking for a more high end unit the demeter tremulator is the choice of a lot of the rich and famous and i think it comes in under $300....of course i can personally recommend the good ol' TR2 which covers all my tremolo needs to be honest.........
ya im with franz on this one. i dont see what other features a trem could possibly have. $400 is a lot to drop on trem. although trem with a exrepession pedal would be pretty cool
