finally saw 'Sin City' tonite on DVD... very good (all-digital) film and worth seeing if you like previous work by Miller, Rodriguez, or Tarantino, but a lot of violence and a twisted plotline. while its soundtrack had very little in the way of guitar music, it occurred to me that 'Sin City', which was very stark, ugly, and brutal (and black and white and red all over), was kind of like the cinematic equivalent of the Boss XT-2's appearance and guttural, distorted sound.

so, what movie (or genre, of whatever medium you choose) do you think best corresponds to other Boss pedals? (e.g., is there a cheesy Halloween slasher flick hidden in the HM-2?)

Any David Lynch movie = Boss VB2

*Actually David Lynch and one of his sound designers use many Boss pedals in the studio for creating different effects

Crossroads (the blues one with Ralph Macchio, not the Britney Spears one) BD-2, and SD-1. And a DS-1 for the scene with Steve Vai.

CE-2, DD-3, DM-2, MD-2, and DS-2 for The Crow.
I can see the SG-1 for Batman (or any Tim Burton film for that matter). But may I also suggest A bullet for Tim Burton's favorite (and only) composer Danny Elfman (sorry to fans of his but for some reason all of his film scores sound the same to me). I liked his music way more when he was with Oingo Boingo.

Hi Stratman
I think you just posted & won the "Funniest Post of The Week"

And you just made me post 666 - at least it was really funny!

I have the inside pics of the GC-1 Compressor, if you are interested, all in hi-res, about 10 -12 of them, maybe a few more.
I could PM them to you.

Regards Dr. BB

Hi Stratman
Check your PM, the .edu one.
I just sent you a heap of pics of the GC-1 Compressor & the LM-2.
I had to break it up into a few emails, as I was exceeding Optus's email upload limit.

Regards Dr. Bob
