Hi Plush Pile
I have a Vintage 1960 Crystal cabinet, if that's what your looking for

Hey Sorry Plush Pile, I couldn't help myself, No harm intended, it must be very late...

PM me what part of the Latrobe valley your in, I Used to go to Toongabbie & Traralgon, yeah I know I probably spelled them incorrectly.
My Sister's out at Koo Wee Rup

And the bass player in my first band was out at
Nar Nar Goon (ran twice backwards go on).
did you know that saying for Nar Nar Goon?

I sometimes get out to Warragul

And Yes all you overseas members, they are the names of real places, in Victoria - Australia.

Regards Dr. Bob

I'm in the good old t'gon at the moment. and you spelled all towns correctly. You didn't even spell warragul like the Rd.

Vintage 1960 Crystal Cab sounds interesting... Are you really intersted in selling?

The bloke i bought the amp off has now decided that he wants the messa cab too. so he's offered me his 1960A cab for AU $500, so unless Dr. Bob's Vintage 1960 Crystal Cab is more tempting i'll probably pick that up...

Oh, and for the record i think Wagga Wagga Oonadatta and Coober Peedy are in the running for most rediculous australianh town names.

Hi Plush Pile[
Now you made me feel real bad, the Vintage 1960 Crystal Cabinet, was meant to be a joke, that seems to have gone a bit wrong.

It really is a Vintage 1960 Crystal Cabinet.
One you put Crystal & old nick nacks & cups & saucers into,
And not a Speaker cabinet.

Sorry if I got your hopes up man, It was late, & it's my twisted sense of humor.
But if you reckon you can get a good rock tone out of it, I go you half in the patent for them.

It was all meant to be light hearted, I work with people that are all Mega serious & couldn't smile unless it puts a permanent crack in their pace.

No bad feeling I hope Plush Pile.

Look around for the price of a Marshall 1960 cab, before you buy it.

If you are interested, I was a Mesa Boogie 2 x 12 slanted, vertical half stack today, for about $360 or there abouts.

PM me, if you want to know who has it, it's S/hand, but looks, not too shabby, I was Um-ing and Arr-ing about it myself, for my own Mesa 50-50 head...
Genuine Mesa Boogie, but you might have to check the actual speaker, if they would let you.

I was talking to a friend of mine as well today, & he is interested,
in selling his Marshall Super Lead 2000,
it's brand new, & I know it's never been gigged,I was with him, when he purchased it.
I could ask him how much if anyone wants?

Regards Dr. Bob

I use a 2x12 with celestion vintage 30's with my marshall superbass head, its an old P.A cab but its really well made and portable....a 4x12 cab(i know i had a few when i was younger)is a hard thing to lug around from gig to gig unless you have very nice bandmates and a van..and make sure all your gigs are on the ground level of the pub or venue your playing.........if this is not a problem for you plush pile go for it....its an experience to feel your trouser bottoms flapping when you play through a 4x12 at full tilt....

Sorry Dr. Bob. now you've made me look like an idiot. yay!
It's not my fault you have a horrible sense of humor

But i have the cab problem sorted now, the seller really does have more money than sense as he's bought the matching Messa Cab, so he's selling me his 1960A cab for $500, so i'm probably going for that.

Hey plush pile....do you live far away from you nearest neighbours or do you have A.S.B.O'S in oz.....?? let us know how what it sounds like bro'.....do you know if the speakers in the 4x12 are celestion 75's...? if they are i think you have the same rig as gary moore and he gets some monster tones out of his.... what sort of guitar are you using...? i saw a documentry about the sex pistols a couple of years ago and steve jones was using the dsl with a les paul custom....the sound was animal.... real electric guitar sound nothing 'plastic' about it..anyway best of luck with the new amp....

A.S.B.O........ anti social behaviour order..... my poor attempt at humour, another joke thats seems to have gone horribly wrong, sorry guys.............you get them off the police in ireland for being a noisy or unsocial neighbour i.e...cranking a marshall through a 4x12 on a regular basis could get you one here....i've often had my marshall and the musicman combo belting out in the back room of the house but so far franzoni has managed to escape the massive manhunt by the feds in my area for the phantom guitar player.....the doc and i were only discussing matons a couple of posts ago i really like the look of them, the switch for changing the pickups and the body shape look cool,is it true that their made from trees that grow down under..??

...and of course my daughters would be thrilled if i got the same guitar as the guy in the wiggles....

p.s ..my cousin is getting married to an aussie next year so your might have franzoni there for a few weeks i'll check them out then....
