LOL.......yeah thats one of two twelve strings i have..that one is a 1974 Aria model 6814..the neck on that thing is sweet
i have to shim the neck on it..a lady gave it to me back in like 1983 or 1984..her husband had passed away and i was helping her move and she asked me if i wanted itthat she woul dnever do anything with it..her husband played in a band i think..AWESOME SOUND.....
my other one is an Ibanez AEF 12 string..great sound, but a thicker neck,(classical type) which i dont like..but it does play very well
got a 1990 RG770 coming in a few months ..OLD SCHOOL GUITARS...YEAH!!!!
Finally an Ibanez fan on Bossarea! i've been looking for a RG770 for a while but then decided not to buy one because it's mainly a 550 with just other pick-ups. I recently sold some of my 550ltd's and a 'normal' 550.

yah i know what yuo mean, but i still love them..i ( for the first time ever) took off a p[ickgard that one of my 550s had on it when i bought it (ugly, not original) adn remembered that all the electronics are mounte on the pick guar unlike the 570s (which are routed and all the electronics sre mounted in the routed space in the body...it took longer than expected to get (especially the pickups backl in ( because of trying to hold the springs on the screws adn lining tem up with the holes and screwing them in and keeping everything from falling out of your hand while doing it
i like Ibanez guiotars for several reasons.i have been playing them solely for 25 years ..the neck mainly and the colors and the looks of the guitars themselves..AWESOME...

what model was the 550 you had and what color?
I sold a galaxy black rg550ex, a purple neon RG550LTD, a black RG550LTD and a RG570 in cherry sunburst. I still own a black and a purple neon RG550LTD as well as a RBM1 (reb beach signature model) all of them with the faboulous Lo-pro edge trem ofcourse!
