It almost seems as if they are thinking that the new David Gilmour CD may make people interested in seeking out that pedal. Seems like he is anticipating that some Gilmour freak will pay anything since he uses one. Don't know of he uses one on the new CD though.
our drummer has nearly as much guitar stuff as me..!! anyway a while ago he lent me a box of pedals he had one of these pedals as well as a fz3(currently on my board)one of the noise gate pedals(ns2...?) and old dod treble booster he also had a multi effects unit like a early me50 made out of plastic od/chorus/delay... to be honest i didn't think the sound of the metalizer was as good as my ds1(jap.. belongs to the singer)looks like the price for some pedals is starting to get mad because someone famous uses it.. i think gilmour uses cornish pedals and custom made tube drivers these days anyway...you can hear the sound of the metalizer on 'sorrow' if anyone is interested.....
