Can someone post a picture of there Chorus Ensemble circuit board.

There is a resisitor missing in one I bought and I'd like to know which one. It's in the DI hole if you could just tell me or get a picture of that area.

Thanks if ya can do this.

You'll find some CE-5 pics on this page:

BTW: D1 is a diode not a resistor.

Hi tamalama

Welcome to the forum from Australia.

Do you know which version of the CE-5 you have?

There is an analog one, that use BBD IC's,
& there is a square chip Digital one.

Post some pics, so we can help you out.

If it's the analog one D1 is a S5500G
Which according to my datasheets is,
a 1 Amp 400V silicon rectifier diode.

A General Purpose (GP) and easily obtainable one is the
1N4004 or any one above that like a 1N4007

The unit runs off worst case 12V, so even A 1N4002 would work.
It's the reverse voltage polarity protection diode.

Shouldn't cost you more than a few cents....
And watch the polarity when you replace it.

Did you get the pedal that way?
And does it work with a KNOWN GOOD 9V battery?

Regards Dr. Bob

My friend gave me and said it quit working. I thought it would be a simple wire loose or something but I didn't realize it was a bigger deal. It looks like he used a bigger power adapter then he should have. You can see some burn marks. So yea I have heard it working before. Hopefully these pics will help. Thanks for the help!
