Hello all - I just picked up a RGE-10 EQ, and a RCE-10 Chorus. I would like to know what your take is on the RCE-10. Also does anyone have the manual for it in pdf? I just discovered this series on another forum (Rockman). By the way I think this is one well thought out site, and forum. Congrats to the folks who got this started. Larry |

Hi czmusician
Welcome to the forum from Australia.
Thanks for your kind comments.
CZ? -- Does that refer to the Casio CZ series of keyboards?

I think the RCE-10 is OK. It's definitely a digital chorus, more brittle than its analogue CE cousins, but it does have a nice wide modulation and stereo output. I wouldn't have it as my only chorus, but along with my CE-2, CE-3 and Small Clone it certainly has a place.
Currently I have mine hooked up with another microrack, the RDD-20. All the micoracks I've tried have been good units, well worth snapping up if you see them.
The manuals for many Boss products can be downloaded from the Roland website. |

CZ is in reference to my heritage. My family came from what is now the Czech Republic. I grew up in a small town (Wilber, Nebraska) which had a large per capita of Czech immigrants back in the 1870s, 1880s. We have a little festival every first weekend in August of which I take part in. We Czechs love to polka, and drink pivo (beer). I started out as a drummer before adding the guitar. Larry |
