There is a new CE-2B in a local music store. I assume it's new because it still is in the showcase and it seems to be in a very good condition, I noticed no scratches on it. How much would you pay for a CE-2B like that? I already have checked on e-bay, but I want still want to hear your points of view.
By the way, what's your opinion about the CE-2B. Would it be a good idea to buy it and keep it for while and then try to sell it again as rare pedal??

Does anybody have any opinion about this ce-2b?

I'm hesitant about buy it or not, buy or save the money for another pedal. After all, it's Christmas but my money isn't limitless.

I have one on my board. I like it for a more 'subtle' chorus. You especially notice the effect when you turn it off. I use an EBS Unichorus for a more 'wild' chorus.
So, yes I like it. Since the one you have an eye on, is a NOS with box and manual, I don't think you will have any trubble selling it if you don' like it.

Thanks Britsie,

... but what is a NOS?

Do you think it will reach $120 USD on Ebay someday?

NOS: New Old Stock Meaning it is old stuff that comes new out of the box.
Can't help you with the Ebay prices though, I am not an expert and I am trying not to look to Ebay too much.

I tried that CE-2B at the store an could not hear any difference. I thought it has a problem, the check led worked normally but no difference when turning on and off. I tried it with a battery they had at the store, probably not fresh but the led wasn't dimmed.

Then I didn't buy it before check the forum. What I found in other thread is that it's very subtle so you will notice the difference until turn it off after a while.

My question, is the CE-2B so so subtle that you won't easily notice the effect even with all the knob at max?? Do you think this pedal could be not working??

The knobs in this pedal in particular look like the ones used in all the 4 knobs pedals, could they be not the original knobs??

This pedal is $120 USD, it has box and manual, the grommet is worn, paint is in very good condition. Could you buy this pedal??
