Okay, I looked at it. Now what...?

C.K. (I did pay a little under half that for my Maestro, though...)

Hey, we've seen that one before. I remember the arrow pointing to the output. I don't have time right now, but I'm sure a quick look throught the recent ebay discussions will bring this pedal up. I gotta run, but I wonder what the story is....

Grace and peace,

Steve

Yes, we discussed that Phaser about a month ago. You don't see any pedals this mint very often so I copied his pictures the last time the auction ran.

It's in really nice condition for its age (erm, "1973"? ), but I'd probably prefer to have a PH-1r myself.

Though if I had this sort of scratch to throw around on individual pedals, I'd have bidded on that Mutron octave divider.

C.K. (one of these days, though...)

Here's the previous auction:

The deal must have fallen through. We'll see if he gets that price again.

O.K., it's sold twice before:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7386978772

But you can't find those auctions with a search of completed items. I've seen other sellers hide their completed auctions, but I've never been able to figure out how they do it. Bunnywah does that with alot of hers because people steal her decriptions. Yes, they're that good. I've thought about paying her to write some for me.

bossarea, I guess you know how she feels!

I love it when I get to use the gun....

Grace and peace,

Steve

Looks like the bunny's been slackin' a little lately, here's the best recent example I could find:

yup, just thought it was a nice clean unit, and complete.

I agree that i'd rather go for the 1r.

Uh. $248 - that's a bit rich!

I don't know how you can completely hide your completed listings, but if you put your text on YOUR OWN WEBSPACE then when auction is over, you can make your descrption and pictures dissapper, but this requires you to have a very detailed TITLE, but, YOUR TEXT WILL NOT BE SEARCHED BECAUSE IT IS "NOT" on ebays website. (unless you put SOME text in WHITE font so noone can see it, but the text will search".

AND, I think, if after you get paid, you UNMARK payment received, that MAY keep it from the completed items list. I haven't tried it, but, you will see many BIN auctions end up in completed because you have to pay right away, and then, because auction is flag, payment completed, eBay assumes its a done deal. I dunno, but someone who is dedicated to figuring out intricacies of eBay programming can have a to at it if they like. Ugggh. Now that's mouthul.

Wow. Talk about hype... about the only thing that can hold a candle to that is this guy's concept of providing feedback:

I don't have time right now to read them all (I'll get back to this after I finish all the StrongBad e-mails), but that's some whacked stuff there!

My favorite reply was:
Reply by 55chevy4: WHO IS THIS GUY ????????

And who are all those Beckys?

Steve

That feedback looks like Strong Bad actually wrote it.

Except that even StrongBad means sense sometimes....

I'm not sure why this guy's profile is even still around on ebay. He must have found a loophole back in the day to leave feedback for people without completing a transaction with them. Some of the responses from the unsuspecting victims are funny, though.

Grace and peace,

Steve
