Hi Ollie
There is one reference picture of my PW-10 on page (5) of the pedal internals thread. http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4147&whichpage=5
Carefully - Unplug the wires that go to the main board. Remove the screws, holding the heel switch board. Remove the board. Put the removed heel switch board, & screws in a safe place.
Put the battery tray back in, & replace the base-plate. Job done.

Hi Ollie That's Correct. If you look with a magnifier, you will see that it's a 2 pin plug & socket. Well it is on the one I have. Or-Unless they soldered the wires directly to yours, in a later model.
Just be gentle, it should pull straight out. rock it gently if it's a bit tight, just the very end part.
One small caveat. If you have to do a master (factory) reset on the PW-10, you will have to replace this switch temporarily.

Hi Ollie
I suggest you re-read the entire thread from page-1. You should find the rest of the info you need on page-1.
I know Pedals 4 pv, & Goran have done this mod.

| Cheers I know what to do now, I've never modded before so I can't help but be careful. |

Hey Ollie! Congrats on the first successful mod!
If you have an interest in modding (it has great rewards) I'm sure there will a short course on soldering and electronics that you will have access to - maybe somewhere at school, or a local community group, or maybe even a local tech might give you some lessons.

Does anybody know about how difficult the Tr-2 volume drop mod is? Mine was made in '94 so it doesnt have the fix |

THe volume drop mod is the simplest mod you can do that requires a soldering iron (I'm serious). Simplest version is one resistor to change. |
