Got me a MIJ HM-2 yesterday! I'd been coveting one of these for awhile and finally found one locally that I could afford.
Now, I could really use some setting suggestions from fellow HM-2 users on how to get that "Marshall in a box" sound this pedal is famous for. For now I'm setting it as: Level - 3:00, L - 2:00, H - 10:00, Distortion - 4:00. If I set H any higher than 10:00 it produces a DS-1 kind of buzz that I really dislike. But if I set it much lower it loses something as well. So, any setting suggestions are appreciated! |

| With how poor I am, I doubt I will ever get a DC-2. I have a DC-3, but the closest I will ever get might be a Behringer CC-300. $30 vs $200+. HMM, let me think about it... lol. That $30 is gonna win every time, lol. Now if I can score a DC-2 for what I paid for my DC-3 ($35 IIRC, back in 1996), that is a whole other story, lol. |

DR.Bob, yeah im actually liking the ce2 alot.
I have tried them together, sounded real nice but i just dont think that flangers are for me .
As for your second question.... I dont know if i can answer that yet! At the moment im liking both of them. Im quite tempted to leave my DC-2 off my board in case of it getting thrashed. See as with my CE-2, i dont care as much. The CE-2 does have a very warm sound i must say...
verivorax, nice xmas pedals
and misterdetail, welcome to the lovley world of the HM-2. Just fiddle with it and youll find it eventually.

Better than the CE2?
To be honest I've never used a CE-2. I just love the DC-2 so much I've never felt the need to try other chorus pedals... I have used a CE-5 which I liked ok, and a CH-1 which I didn't like. |

This little baby is on it's way. Any thoughts on this model? Maybe someone has a bad/good experience they would like to share?

Hmmm... also waiting for a brand new RC-2 |

Congrats fabs. They're really good lookin'.
I received my brand new RC-2 today. I guess it will bring me lots of fun when I get to know all the functions. Only played around with it for an hour and I really enjoyed it so far.
