I have a PSA-120T adapter it is 9.6v and 200ma. Will it work fine with boss me 50 and the regular pedals like bd-2, od-3 etc. Thanks ind advance.

Hi Baller188.

After some digging in the manual (downloadable from the Boss site) I found that the current draw from the ME-50 is 120mA, since your PSA adapter can put out 200mA, that should leave 80mA spare current and should work just fine.

Unless you want to daisy chain a compact pedal alongside the ME-50 from the same adaptor, then you'll have to figure out how much current the pedal draws before you reach the limit of 200mA.

In that case you'll either need a bigger adaptor or a second one just for powering your pedals.

I would only use it for one pedal I just did not know if the voltage was too much since most pedals say use 9v instead of 9.6v. Thanks again.

The PSA120T is the standard supply for these pedals. As long as it isn't faulty, you can use it with no worries.

The new PSA-120S is 500mA at 9v flat..

also, the ME-50 asks for that adapter specifically.
