I'm surpised to see that a pedal made as recently as 1990 has set screw knobs but it might still be original. It's we haven't gathered information on before so who knows when they changed to press-fit knobs.
The $120 BIN is too high. I'm quite sure it will sound exactly as the Japan made version but this one's still made in Taiwan and it will bring the price down.
Hi! I would also be very interested in whether there are any technical and/or sound differences between MIJ and MIT CE-2s. Are their circuits identical?
I have read somewhere that the MIJ CE-2 sounds better as their internal trim pots was more carefully adjusted. Don�t know if it�s true, and I havn�t compared MIT & MIJ back to back.
