Hey guys, correct me if I'm wrong on this ...

Maestro made these big ugly pedals that had two big lighted wheels on the side so you can control the effect with your foot. The whole pedal top was the footswtich so all you had to do was step on the whole pedal - and not hunt for the little silver switch, some had a large flat rubber dial in the middle that you could switch modes. DID THEY PRODUCE A SILKY ANALOGUE SOUND - yah better believe it!

Now, back in 1980, a friend of mine who was a few years older than me (and had a summer job) he bought a MAESTRO FUZZTAIN, BRAND FREAKING NEW. it may even have been 1981. (I remember this so clearly because I was still in grade school or grade 9 and too young to work and he spent all his money on gear and i was going "OOOOOOOOOOHHHH if I just had a job ...........)

Anyways WHY ARE THESE EBAYERS STATING They are 60's 70's?????

JUST LOOK AT THE PEDAL there is NOTHING 60's about its design but is totally a 70's 80's "new wave" gig, ie. mostly everything from the 60's and through the 70's were pretty small with small knobs that looked like home stereo equipment on the floor, NOT these big wedge things that Maestro produced.

Again, another irritant when people don't know their facts. SO i'd like to know mine.

I googled "maestro" and "maestro fuzztain" and can't find anything official about when they were introduced, just a bunch of forum postings saying "late 60's early 70's". I think Maestro was indeed making pedals in the 60's 70's, but c'mon, just LOOK at one of these FUZZTAINs with the big wheels, and there is NUTHIN 60's about it. IMHO.
