It's perfect for those occasional gigs at Howard Johnson's...

| If it's real, buy it, then buy a $40 new one and rehouse the guts in the new housing. |

Won't work, because of the DC power jack (notch vs. hole)...

| I'd ask if its been modded internally other than the paint job, because thats either a blue or green LED so technically it has been "modded"... |

No mechanical strength/stability. The MIT jack is mounted on the circuit board; the MIJ mounts in the case slot with no physical contact to the circuit board.
You would have to somehow permanently bond the jack to the case, which would make future disassembly difficult (unless you left sufficient slack in the wiring or didn't object to desoldering/resoldering it each time).
The other alternative would be another chassis-mount jack (e.g. threaded mount) that would mechanically fit in the MIT case opening.

Hi hexfactor
1 - At a quick glance, it's been modded with LED's for Clipping diodes. The red things in the middle of the board.
2 - And from the looks of it, a new battery clip has been wired into the pedal. See the black electrical tape for insulation.
The rest seems to be orig. Might have to get Christo's magic eyes on this one. The Pics are a bit Sh!tty for my older eyes.
Regards Dr. Bob

| The whole thing seems so fishy to me... I'd pay maybe $5 for it for parts. |

Hi rhcp_1005
Maybe you should write back to the guy, & ask why it's still considered VINTAGE, if it's had mods & done to it.
Do it in a question to the seller, so it appears on the evilbay page for other to read as well. And ask him if it actually still works?
Like Laurie said, "it's Fishy".
Regards Dr. Bob

At first glance, he has the two clipping diodes changed to red LEDs. Did a quick compare to the Internal pics we have here, and the resistors and caps look stock. |
