Hi all The new TU 1000 looks good but who has enough room on their pedal boards for one? Is it really a worth while investment when you already have the TU 2 option. I would imagine that the cost of this thing is far more than a TU 2 as well so what is the point of of it apart from making your rig bigger and giving you more gear to carry about and set up. |

Hey neala,
I agree, the TU-1000 has me stumped too, I mean the thing is huge 414mm or 16-5/16 inches wide and 160mm or 6-5/16 inches deep. Its around the same footprint of 4 compacts with patch leads.
Surely the TU-2 is a better solution, although the TU-1000 has better accuracy at +/- 1 cent compared to the TU-2's +/- 3 cent but why so big?
I'm kind of surprised Boss hasn't released a rack tuner yet to compete with the Korg DTR-1000/DTR-2000, maybe thats what the TU-1000 should have been?

| Is the TU 1000 able to power any other pedals like the TU 2 ? |

It looks like the ME-5 to me. They should have made this tiny and lightweight to fit at the top of people's pedalboards.. 4lbs. 4lbs of tuner. |

Hi Guys
Maybe we're going to see a new BIGGER redesigned (BCB-600?) Pedal Case to accommodate the new TU-1000.
It is monstrous, but I guess they are aiming this a the Pro-scene.
The the "Free advertising" Boss Logo on the back, that glows Blue, will be easier to see when it's that size. |

Maybe Boss will bring out a BCB 60.000 on wheels to take it and all your other pedals. |

Like I said it is designed to accommodate our elder guitar players and the legally blind. |
