fair play to that guy getting the guitar built for less,looks like the luthier s doing a great job....it is a nice guitar but no way the ibanez model for PG deserves a $7000 price tag.....
similar to the overhyped "Black dog" Satch model.. absurd @ $16k. This is nice, and I think the luthier-built guitar will be every bit as good as the top level Ibanez custom from Japan (maybe not the same as the LACS stuff for endorsees...)
Ibanez is moving back to the Iceman design a little.. Meshuggah's custom 8-strings are now Iceman-bodies, and their first 8s (as well as the RG2228) feature the Iceman headstock. This is just another variant, it seems -how long until we get a production Fireman now??

I hate the Reverse Explorer and Reverse-V. brutal guitars, bad idea. The V was like 4k!
