Raven West Tele copy... Neck Thru!

Plays great, sounds pretty good and it was well cheaper than a Fender. I still love my Fender Tele more of course...

Not a very good picture, but this is my Greg Bennett (Samick) Avion AV-6. I'm extremely happy with this guitar, it's the first high quality instrument I've ever owned. Nice deep tone, good playability, and I'm in love with the quilted maple arch top!

Hi sclitheroe Please tell me-us a bit more about your AV6, it's pretty much at the top of the Greg Bennett range. I belive they also have an AV7, but I'm not too sure what that gives you above the AV6?
Reason I ask, is I missed out on one of their lower end AV1's this weekend, I was playing it & it felt pretty good, So I went home & did a bit of research on the AVION range, but it was gone when I went back later in the afternoon. It was all Black with white binding.
I may look for an AV6 in the future. GB guitars originally didn't have much of a reputation here in OZ.
Regards & thanks Dr. Bob |

Yes it is a Ukulele. However, it's a Bass uke! Alkthough it's scale is about 20" It has the same tuning as a standard 4 string bass and it thumps like you wouldn't believe.
I've been using this with my band and it sounds awesome!
It sounds a little bit like a double bass (i'm not joking).
