| I sold one of those back in the summer when the market was terrible (for sellers). I think I got about $50 for it. |

BF-2's are easy enough to come across without dealing with nutballs like this...there is a HF-2 for 30 in a local ad at the moment here in Dublin....i've also seen BF-2's for around the same,i got mine for 40...
Well, thankfully I came across a pretty decent BF-3 for 30 U$D + shipping and by now I don't need a BF-2. That fritz has some pedals I'd like to have my hands on, but I can wait for something much better. |

| I just spent a decent chunk of time researching his purchases by looking at his feedbacks received as a buyer - he buys a crapton of pedals. Right now he is selling a "rare" Jordan Fuzz Pedal - "UNREAL early 70s? best fuzzface tone ive ever heard fat...the led is out its pointless anyways...sounds amazing" - he bought this pedal barely 2 weeks ago on what must have been a BIN for $149 and he now has it up for a BIN of $299! He has bought what looks like at least 5 or more CE2s in various states of condition in the past month or so, mostly for under $100, but none of them had boxes. He seems to buy a lot of BIN pedal bunches and then turn around and split them up and sell for big profits, and he obviously just has the money to just buy right away when he sees the stuff go up there. And then he just flips it. I mean nobody buys as many MXR flangers and Jimi Hendrix Digitech Wahs as I have seen crop up in his feedback... lately he has been buying a bunch of ProCo RATs and apparently opening them up to determine year and what chips are in them and turning around and selling them for like $200 after he just paid $50 for them, usually on a BIN unsuspecting seller... no wonder none of us get the good deals. I see he is selling an OC2 mint with box and manual for $159, and I noticed in his feedback he got one for like $49. It's kinda shameful, to be honest with you. |

| I just sent him a message after seeing a pedal that was blatantly being resold for double the profit, it was an obviously modded CE-2 with true bypass and different knobs, he had just bought for like $99, and was turning around and selling for $199 - I asked him if he thought nobody was wise to his flipping ways or something! |

He bought my Ibanez PUE-5 months back for $50 and put it up for something like $225 a few weeks later. His pic of it was terrible. I almost sent him a message that he could at least use the nice pix I took of it! I don't know if he ever sold it.
His MO seems to be to wait until someone gives him an offer that's more than he paid, but far less than he's listed it for. They think he gave them a great deal & he still makes money on it. I guess it works for him. |

No nothing wrong with it ... i don't care what it says on the tin once it's a good sounding pedal and it does what i need it to so i won't be paying this dickheads outrageous prices, personally i think people should boycott this asshole and buy their pedals elsewhere...if i want a quality box i'll buy one off Laurie or someone like that are making excellent clones with better components and true bypass,i just got one of Lauries superb HZD boosters and it's doing it's debut gig tonight...... |

It's right, nothing wrong with it. But no one likes to get beat in an auction by someone who makes money out of nothing. It reminds me of what happened with houses and construction in Spain until this recession (and that's what this guy is doing): people bought flats or houses putting themselves high mortgages on intending to sell them some years later making a profit. It had to explode sometime somewhere.
Sorry for the OT! How did it go with Laurie's pedal! I hope he makes something that I need soon. |

| I'd like to think that his sales go to people outside the US who are willing to pay a premium to sellers who will ship worldwide & not just to people who aren't sharp enough to know that they are paying way too much. |

Summed you perfectly what i was trying to say.. ..it's the little guys who might not know enough about the market and get burned i was talking about..if someone is a collector and is willing to pay over the odds that up to them...to be honest i find a lot of these guys descriptions of the items to be a bit OTT and this can be misleading for someone starting out...
To give a OT example... In Ireland a car MUST be over 30 years old to qualify for vintage car tax and vintage car insurance which are both a lot cheaper than standard...
I've seen stuff advertised Like my '89 USA standard strat as vintage.... ...i have a '61 selmer 1 x 12 combo and a '67 Fender Coranado II to me they are vintage.... not something 20 years old or less....
