hi guys, i need your help to decide, i've just treated myself with an OD-1. the thing is, i already have an overdrive pedal, a BD-2. I can't fit the newly added OD-1 anymore to my pedal board, you reckon i should get a bigger pedal board? or sell either the BD-2 or the OD-1? if i decide to sell the overdrive pedals, which one should i get rid of, the BD-2? or the OD-1? please help me.. tell me what you think about each pedal.. and which one will you think be better to keep.. thanks

My advice is play with them(are you in some kind of hurry?) What do they give you that you like or don't like. What kind of music do you play, which one sounds better to you. If you like them both, keep them.

I'm with Pedalhead here. Keep both. No matter which one you get rid of you will probably regret it later.

I would keep both. Use the BD2 as a booster and the OD1 as your main overdrive. Kick something else off your board for a while and see how that works for you.

selling the bloody BD-2 to you??? HAHAHAHAHAHA.. over me dead body... i share my love to all of my pedals... i got a special affection for each of them. if they're not on my pedal board, they'll be on their nice comfy box.. snuggling there.. yeah, i reckon i should keep them or i might regret them later. thanks boss freak for your suggestion..
btw, do you recommnend the DM-2 over the DD-6? since i found the DD-6 are a bit complicated to operate, too many knobs and turns i'm planning to sell the DD-6 for a DM-2... |

If you're doing ska and 60s/70s stuff, I would definitely go with an analog delay such as the DM2, which you seem to be planning already. It will be a very different delay sound (darker, thicker) that will give you a more authentic sound for earlier types of music, rather than the modern sounding digital delay. Good choice.

OD-1 is vintage...rare item, BD-2 is quite new (still in stock), you can buy it everytime, I would buy OD-1, but I would keep BD-2 too. Both of them are very good overdrives.

If you don't get the DM-2, Try to get a DD-2, it's digital, but it will sound darker than a DD-6. I set mine up for a analog type of sound, it not exact but pretty damn close.
