Hi Guys
I know a lot of us here have been waiting for this.

I just found out that Goran's new Pogonophobia album/CD is up on the servers.
And now available for immediate download.

I still have not listened to it, but here is all the nitty gritty
on where to download it.

Here is the main entry:
http://prognotfrog.blogspot.com/2009/04/pogonophobia-bimmib-2009-space-kraut.html

and here is the place for downloading:
http://lix.in/-3f5263

67Megs - I used the RapidShare Link

I will leave it up to Goran to tell us more,
but I belive that the album has some friends helping them out.
One is a friend or Goran's, & the other guy on drums, is a friend of his Son.

I belive that some or the tracks are from their (3rd) un-release album.

I look forward to listening to this:
Thanks Goran.

Regards Dr. Bob

Thanks Dr Bob for the pushing of our music, and DeFrag & Laurie!

Well, there is a lot to tell about these recordings, firstly all of it are jams/improvisations. No one knew anything of what would happen after the striking of the first chord/note. There is some overdubs on Lullaby for stairs, but the main theme is a jam. Working this way means that false notes etc will be there, but we think those are worth the overall result.
The strange titles of the songs are completely my sons ideas, well on our first two CDs we named the songs by Roman numbers, I think this is a bit better.

Boss DD-20 is used all over, and plenty of other Boss pedals, PS-5, DS-1; ML-2, PH-3.
The first and last piece is an oscillating RE-20, the knobs manipulated.
Bax, my son, plays bass, Hammond B3 and more modern keyboards.
All songs except the ones with full band were recorded on a Fostex hard desk recorder, my guitar lined via a Roland Micro Cube, the Bass and keyboards via a Yamaha DG Stomp. This is not a very sophisticated setup.

The jam with a drummer and another guitarist was really a mistake, me and Bax would do some recordings in a friends studio. That friend I have played with since I was 13 years old, on a regular basis. My friends son showed up (and he has played a little bit of drums over the years, a little bit), hes a friend of Bax since they were babies.
So we just started to jam, recorded straight to a CD-burner, two microphones (and a small mixer) and nothing more. On this Bax plays the Hammond. This was supposed to be a warm up before the actual recording, but we jammed for hours. There was blues and rock too, but those didnt fit on the cd style wise.
Me and Bax didnt record anything that we were supposed that evening And we never used my friends good analog studio...

The third CD Dr Bob refers to was never out for download, weve loaned a couple of songs from that.
I hope some of you like the music were doing, and I know for sure this is not for everybody.
Last weekend me and my wife went to a concert by David Torn, and my wife said that Pogonophobia was easier to listen to, and I have to agree. But I got a lot of inspiration from Torn for future experiments, and it was a great concert!

I'm only into it a few songs but 03 - Road to Samadhi - 1.mp3 OMFG I love this! I couldn't wait until I got through them all to tell you how much I appreciate your gift. Thanks (as before) to you & your son. You give me sonic possibilities for which to shoot.

I'm sure I'll be back l8r, but for now, your compilations deserve $$.

PM me & I can send better mp3s via e-mail - Dr. Bob already has them

Back on track - the Hammond sounds GREAT - serious shades of Richard Wright

My email won't take 67MB & I'd love better than 128kbps MP3s.
