I'm chasing to replicate a tone in a recording.
The recording is really crap but its the most widely known song I can think of with this example of tone.

Its the solo out of George Thorogood and the Destroyers - Treat Her Right

I haven�t heard thet particular son g by Thorogood but I�m very familiar with his music.
I would think that he is using a minimum of pedals, just cooking tube-amps for his style of rockin� blues.

I agree with Goran. Most likely a combination of his guitar and a small vintage tube combo.

He has such a lot of attitude in his sound eh? But there are moments he can sound sweet too.

His sound comes mainly from his playing, really "old-school-no-nonsense-kind of approach, which I really like!!! ["Just leave your toys at home and do it with your bare knuckles"]
