wondering if there is something out there that you could purchase or that can be built like this

im looking for something that is similar i guess to what you would see in a music store Boss display where they have all there pedals hooked up together in one place (no matter what the order)

and you can isolate the ones you dont want in the signal path

something that would work on your pedal board for this

is there something out there like this that can be found or built?

not that im lazy, but if i wanted to experiment with different pedal configurations with out unplugging and plugging cables all day

you mean switching the order of the pedals aswel as turning them on and off? not sure most normal midi and non midi switches don't do that but maybe theres one out there.

ofcourse for just switching specific ones on and off you can use a looper (manual bypass loop) or midi controled looper (look for voodoo gcx or glab gsc)

not really switching the order, but just having ones on i want to hear th eeffects of and the others off regardless of the configuration they are in...

i have two loops in my setup on my pedalboard (one clean..one dirty..my delay is the only one connected to both) now and i was wanting to experiment with out unplugging and rearranging..i realize i might have to do some unplugging and rearranging, but want to do as little as possible

http://www.loooper.com/

the bypass loopers is either in bypass or the signal travels though a loop. in each loop you can put certain pedals to create a certain sound and easily switch between the two. or you can bypass individual effects.

those are realatively cheap. if you want to press a button for a certain combination of pedals and another button for another combination then you need a midi device.

Well Voodoo labs and Lehle are trusted brands but you'll have to be more specific with which you mean. I'm saving for a glab gsc-3 myself but i don't know if there for sale in the US.

that is a nice unit but to use that your going to need a MIDI controller aswell. so it would cost you about 600 us or so for the set. 800 us if you want the voodoo lab MIDI controller.
