I don't exactly know what kind of crazy mood I was in yesterday, but I bid on that :

http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=014&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=330078942737&rd=1&rd=1

And as I'm the only bidder, I won it.

The fact that made me bid is the Oil Can thing. I never saw nor heard one. And I know standalone versions of the Fender Oil Can devices are pretty sought after...

http://cgi.ebay.com/FENDER-ECHO-REVERB-VINTAGE-OIL-CAN-DELAY-RARE_W0QQitemZ250070274817QQihZ015QQcategoryZ41415QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Some pictures of Fender and other Oil Can delay devices (including this Super Showman) : http://www.geocities.com/tel_ray

I'll have to pay with BidPay or something, not Paypal. And the shipping is 100$, which make the whole stuff cost me 230 (luckily $ is weaker than ). So tell me, did I make something stupid ? Do you think there is any reason I should be careful ?

Why do you think no one bid on this ? Because the Oil Can is not seen in the title ?

And finally, do you think it's possible the fuzz in there is the Fender Blender ???

I'm not an expert on amps but I think it looks interesting! I wonder what it will sound like???

You will have to let us know when you get it if it is any good?

I hope it is!

It looks to be a nice buy Basstyra, something good as a mini project aswell. The seller says it's a little noisy so it would be cool to have a tweak about with it and clean it all up.

From my experience Bidpay is a similar system to paypal, I've never used it but a lot of people swear by it. Either way it should be easy to work out.

If the Fuzz in there is a Fender Blender that would be cool, I've got the real thing and I really like it although it's not an everyday fuzz. If you clean it up properly and re-solder any dodgy joints you could probably make a nice profit from it anyway if you don't like it.

Good buy overall Basstyra

Thanks guys

I allready have an original Fender Blender, "it's not an everyday fuzz" is the least you could say...

I asked the seller for some more informations before making the payment. But it looks like it will be fine.
