| I think maybe he was part of some goth or metal band where everything must be as black as possible. What I find interesting is that pedalboard surfaces and stages are oftentimes black, so how could he see where his pedals were? I have 2 words for anyone who does not want to let everyone else see whats on your pedal board: Gaffers Tape. It will not leave residue, and if you get white gaffers tape, you can write misleading names for your pedals, like label your distortion as CLEAN... |

and you also must be slightly retarted if you think that the "mystery" pedal with 7 white sliders is anything but a GE-7. |

And if you do use tape that leaves some residue, grap your sister hair dryer, and add a little (operative word LITTLE ) heat to make is soft and you can then roll the residue off with your thumb.
Yes, on occasion I have to clean a dirty pedal. |

| its stupid in general to try to hide what kind of pedals you are using unless you are a huge rockstar. If you're selling common Boss pedals on Ebay for a couple bucks you are not a huge rockstar. |

Agreed Dingus! This guy was either thinking "Hey, I don't want anyone to steal my tricks because I am a rockstar!" or "God forbid anyone finds out I use an OC-2 pedal -- they'd think I'm some poseur!"

No, if it was Gwar the pedal would be covered in various fluids and other materials. |
