I never knew that Aussies consider Fosters to be 'tourist beer'... makes me want to visit to see what real beer tastes like in Oz.

back on topic... FWIW, PayPal/USA now offers a debit card to some members (to cash out your PayPal balance); my family bought groceries last week using proceeds from selling crap on eBay. is the PayPal debit card available in Australia?

and re: craigslist, I've spent $600 (drums and pedals), but sold nothing the few times I've tried listing.

I mainly buy and sell gear through various forums: bossarea, the gear page, and harmony central. I would rather sell at a slightly lower price than give the extra dollars to ebay. At some point I am probably going to have to list some stuff on ebay that has not sold yet in the forums. I basically avoid ebay when ever possible.
