Good Day All

Looking for sevice manual for DD3 Delay Boss pedal.
After not using the pedal for a few years I have:

Not holding (latching ) to on position .I know it should be a cap breaking down over time -anyone had such a problem.

Regards

Where do you have the "mode" dial set to when this happens? Is it all 4 positions or just the "hold" setting full clockwise?

I have the same problem with a DD-2 (same circuit). With a battery (non preferable) it works good, with a PS not.
I tested it in normal (non hold) mode.

I posted the schematic here: http://www.wangotango.nl/bossdd2.jpg

If you find the sollution please post it here

Greetings

Good day

Thanks foir the responses.

1-In the first three positions the led comes on intermittently-more often not at all.
I have checked the switch -that is working well because in the fourth position "HOLD "the unit works properly with LED on as long as you have the switch pushed.

2-Same conditions in battery and mains supply options.

Regards

Brad

Good Day All

Thanks for the response .

Having gone through the circuit I found the input to the t-type FLIP FLOP that latches (BA634 ) had a dry joint on pin !.

Left it overnight and retested tonight and all is working well.

Thanks again.

Brad
