Thanks, man, here is the design. The IC is a bit pricy (eheh, it's a prIC), but it is possible to do it with an OTA.
It's called the TY-2 Y-trem (cause it's a tremolo, and it's even further than X-treme, well anyway this makes a joke in french) |

Floy I really like your avatar. What did you use to put your letters on it, and what's under the paint job.
Put me down for a TY-2. |

I do have a demo right now, but it's one from before I got some more setting possibilities into that thing. The first two are square-modulation (slow and fast), the other ones are triangle-modulation, faster and faster. At that time it was not possible to mix the triangle with the square, and you could here the LFO, and it was not possible to mix the dry signal with it (this can help you get a saw form, or an asymetric tremolo).
The file is here : http://www.neufgiga.com/n/50-17/share/LNK9909499ec746698d8/ But I have to warn you this was a quick demo, and I'm offbeat most of the time.
Enjoy !
Hi ButterFlo˙ Thanks for posting & sharing your audio demo.
There are some really interesting sounds happening in there.
Do you use this circuit to replace the oscillator?
Regards Dr. Bob |

I did that with waterslide paper. These are special sheets that can be printed with a home printer, and then applied on any surface. If you can read french here is a tutorial I made for people on a DIY forum. If you need a translation I can try one, it might not be a perfect one (blame the french education system), but this method is the easiest I've seen, and you can find this type of paper in any model building shop (I don't know what word you use for this).
Dr. Bob, this circuit is actually the whole effect (minus the switch), so the oscillator and the amplitude modulation. It is not perfect yet, the output sound is quite low, but I'm working on that.
Thank you all for you interest. It's great to share such a geek hobby with other people.

Isn't the DD-3 pretty much a DD-2 reissue, or have they made some circuit'upgrades' over the years? |

Actually, it's more like designing the cover while recording, you know, for the music to be in total adequation with the design, art stuff and all..
