All I can say is, now I have to take a break from collecting...
My '83 SCC-700 just arrived today in all its 60lbs of glory! I can't wait to load it up and get some pictures on here. It's in EXC shape!
Anyone else have one? I may need some maintenance tips since it looks like this one was unused for 20+ years (not dirty, just all metal/plastic creaky from sedentary lifestyle...) |

Congrats sneaky103! I would love to get my hands one one of these but whenever I've seen one, it's been priced way out of my budget.
Pictures please |

I have one. A space constraint has forced it out of my tiny music area but it's really fun, and boy is it is heavy. I read the manual while I was waiting for it to come in the mail. It can do a lot. It can be like a gigantic Line Selector.

Do you have a digital copy of the manual? That's the only thing this one didn't come with. And it's so wild that you have to screw them into the board with the jack screws! |

| Whew! What a manual. I ended up signing up for the Roland site to download it (so I could print it while at work on their dime...don't tell!) This weekend I hope to have pics up of it populated and tested out. I'll also be on the search for UM-3 batteries. Thanks for ya'll's support--I can't wait to use it! It's in EXCELLENT condition, just minor edge wear on the case and a few components... |

Okay, took me a while, sorry!
I have my current live-rig in it. It's loaded with:
HF-2 MIJ BF-2 MIJ OD-1 MIJ OD-2 MIJ OD-3 MIT MZ-2 MIJ (blank open space for SG-1)
Okay, I'm a little OCD so I have 'em spaced in there by color, I like pretty stuff!
Seems like there was one tiny metal piece that used to close the power-side (R side) of the computer. But hey, wow! It's in EXCELLENT shape and works like a charm! More info to come...let me know what you think ya'll!

Hi sneaky103
Very nice. They really knew how to put stuff together back then. And yours looks in almost mint condition.
Regards Dr. bob |
