That would be cool.
Hi Tony, Laurie & guys I built a working mockup, without the alligator clips, during my free time, at work yesterday.
I have a couple of pics. When I resize them I'll do a post, although I'll probably put them into a new thread. Mods & Tech? or Tech FAQ's, where do you guys think I should post them?

I feel kind off bad about not checking up on the thread (long story short, GCSE coursework) due to the aforementioned coursework I haven't stated building the probe yet but it should be finished by the weekend. Thanks for the help so far

Sorry for the wait guys. Been bogged down with coursework rugby and building other pedal. On the plus side though I now have acess to a signal generator and an oscilloscope so I can get whatever readings I need to find. Any tips on where to start?
Thanks in advance, Sam
P.S. What is the point of the Direct Output? |

Have a look at my DD 2 thread and really try all the stuff that we tried at the start:
1). Check for loose wires, broken tracks, fried components, etc. 2). Referencing to ground, check the voltages around IC10 - you should have round 9v going in, around 5v coming out.
From the fact that you can hear the test tone and that you're getting no signal at all , there might be a problem is the muting circuit, around the BA634.
Where exactly are you with it? Is the faint delay signal back? Is it still failing to mute the test tone when powered up?
It would be great if you could post some pictures.
The "insert an image file" link when you're writing a post is a bit misleading, as this is only used to upload pictures to your account. Once you've uploaded them to your account, you can get them to display in the post like this:
(img)uploaded/Tux320/filename here.jpg(/img)
To make it work you have to substitute these brackets: ( ) ( ) with these ones: [ ] [ ]. Obviously, you also have to change "filename here" to the filename of your picture.
