The MZ-2 seems really overrated.
The VB-2 is TOTALLY overrated, but well, the price they go for is more about the rarity (or the "collectability") of the stuff. Concerning the sound, any EHX vibrato (Clone Theory, Memory Man...) is far better IMO.
I think the PQ-3B (and probably the PQ-4, but I never used one) is underrated. Parametrics EQ are generally underrated, considering the usefulness of them. |

i reckon that the DS-2 is over-rated if u read harmony central, everybody seems to get because a certain Kurt Cobain "used" it.. and also, TU-2.. but at the end of the day it all depends on what sound u want.. some people like certain tone and some people just don't...
under-rated would most definitely be DS-1, OD-2 and OD-3...

Not a Boss pedal, but 95% of the time when you see a Small Clone on eBay, they make reference to the Nirvana "Come As You Are" sound...its interesting how certain pedals get stuck with certain players and bands, cause a Gonkulator and/or PH-2 eBay listing often has some remark about Incubus in it... |

| I went to a pedal fest the other day and brought my OD-1. Nobody would even look at it. I think it's got some serious voodoo! Neck pick up on a strat tone rolled back to taste sure works for me. |
