No, the fact is, the circuit sure works. Some moisture on it, a cap blown up, a transistor missing, and that's all.
But the box is definitively out of order. The switch (moving part of the box) is broken (I had to break it to open it), the bottom is so rotten I would not be able to install a new one.
I could put the guts in another box, but it's still a CE-3, I guess it will be more worth it if I keep it for pieces. I surely will have the use for a pair MN3207/MN3102 one day. |

Basstyra if you want to get rid of the bottom plate, rubber and sticker i could use it, i have a pedal with no bottome plate, just a home made one.

once it gets going, if it ever does, i bet itll sound hot.
send it to me and ill revive it, including cases, which are the best bit.
i beleive that pedals which are shiny either sound so bad no one plays em, or worse, they just dont get used. |

I dunno how I missed this thread so long ago....
I thought my MIJ DS-2 was in rough shape, but that CE-3 is truly a "swamp thing". I wonder if Basstrya ever got it to work (in a new housing)? |
