He sounds like JB, But doesnt play like him. Could just be someone with a sameish voice milking the fact he sounds somewhat similar to promote his YouTube channel. Either way, the guys cool as an igloo

Nooo, I like Johnny I'd like to see him do some longer reviews though.
His humor is the same though. Never heard of the guy but he's very cool to watch

I love Johnny DeMarco in a twisted sort of way. Like it's so cheesy it's good or something. And Natthu nailed it. It's cheesy as all hell but you gotta love the enthusiasm. Besides, he's laughing at us, actually. He's the one who gets to play with everything Boss ever made all day long.
Also, pretty much every facial expression is exactly like aaron described. I mean you can just about pause his videos anywhere and get pure gold:
"No imitations here man! You're hearing authentic Boss pedals! Alright!!!"
It makes you wonder, if he DID do porn, would he do it with the same enthusiasm he has for cube amps and chorus pedals?

I always liked him in a strange way too. I'd rather have ten DeMarco's than one Jason Spencer at all -he can't seem to stop scratching his nose and I hated the way he capitalized on the 'viva la vida' hysteria in order to get more views on his youtube channel.
Cool video of the cube street amp, it's funny how it features so many things with not too many controls. I didn't expect the chromatic tuner! |

He used to wind me up at first but I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover - that guy is a really techically competent guitarist in many styles. He probably fits the bill exactly for what Roland/Boss need to show off their gear.
Skill wins over coolness in the demo business I guess. |
