haha trust me, ive put hours debating this and i came to this conclusion.
BF-2...im not a flanger guy, and if something happens and i need flange, i have the HF-2.
PS-2...i used it on and off and just couldnt find a use for it in my setup..its neat and everything but i have the PS-5.
MZ-2.. very handy if you play live and want delay/chorus/distortion. again its a great pedal but just doesnt do it for me. i would rather have distortion, delay, and chorus separate.
FT-2..ok this one i might miss  but the TW-1 has all my filter/autowah needs in it..
im also looking to offload one of my GE-6s but for some reason these sell for like $40. maybe ill hold off on it or trade it.
the way i see it is that these pedals wont get any use from me. i might as well trade them up for something that i can get use from like a guitar or amp..
the other thing is that i guess before i was kinda going for the whole collection. but im never going to drop $500 for a SP-1, SG-1, VB-2, etc. if only i had started collecting a few years earlier, i might have been able to get them for cheaper but now it seems EVERY guitar shop, pawn shop, flea market source their prices on ebay. its hard to find deals anymore.
last weekend i went to a very out of the way flea market..and this place was one of those grimy places that smelled like cabbage. i was looking through some old stereo gear and i came across TWO DM-2s. i thought MAN THIS IS IT! finally i came across a DM-2(or two) and im gonna practically steal them for dirt cheap off of this old lady who has no idea of their value. then the response to my question was.. "those are $225 each. they're made in Japan you know." |

Maybe you misheard the old lady when she said 'two twenty five'
She probaply meant $2.25 and made in japan is BAD, it's not made in the US so it can't be good

haha SP-1 good point, i never thought of it like that..
hey Bossman. i was actually debating buying the FT-2 off of you a while ago. for now ill see how it goes without it, but ill keep yours in mind |
