Yeah, man. I can make a joyful noise with these.

The dust, dirt and fur stays. It is not permissible to wipe that stuff off. That is how I catch Neutrinos.

I'm a great fan of imagery! But I dunno if this might not be a little bit over-the-edge, eh?

OK so they've been used a lot, so what.
It doesn't take much to clean dust and muck off the pedals and generally look after them.

I also now wonder what condition the rest of his stuff must be in.

The OD-1 actually did accompany me to Saudi during the
first gulf war.

The OD-1 and HM-2 are really the only ones that see much use these days. The rest sit on the shelf.

The dust and dirt thing goes back several years. It really aggravated
an old girl friend, so what else could I do ????

Mr. PaulH, yes my stuff has been used ALOT. I am not a mint in the box kind of guy. I am not a collector. I USE my gear. So, since you obviously are a wee bit cynical, may I present, my CE-3. Man, it
sounds great. It is amazing what corrosion does to the stereo
field. I highly recommend this to all.

So, Mr. PaulH lighten up a bit. If you don't get the humor, your loss.

(The CE-3 actually belongs to basstyra and the image was used without permission for humor. )

That is a pedal that belongs to basstyra.
There were a few other s on that thread as well, if I remember correctly.

Still It was a good opinion point.

Hi racer X

I just noticed that you have your Dist. cranked to max on your XT-2.
Is that the way you run-used to run it?

I use mine on very low settings, more as a Spectral Enhancer (settings posted in another thread), I guess it's as close to an SP-1, that I'm likely to get anytime soon.
And the XT-2 sounds amazing that way, in a "lots of smiles way".

My friend JohnJack, came over recently, & played the settings, on my spare XT-2, while I was grinding away on my Blackie Strat. & another humbucker fitted guitar I own.
Al running way too loud, into my now infamous 7ender 75 1x12 combo.

He managed to get a really cranked, full on Marshall-ish tone out of the XT-2.
So I now have one set for the Spectral Enhancer setting, & the other is on the settings/tone that he discovered.

The XT-2 is highly interactive across the controls in some settings.
At times self defeating, as in, you think you might need a little more of this knob, & it all turns to Sh!t, because the pots just went interactive.

The XT-2 can be frustrating as hell to setup, simply because of this reason.
Mine is now a permanent part of my recording rig.

Whoops --- I think I just turned this, back into the XT-2 appreciation thread.
I know Big Boss Man, & a few others will be pleased...

Regards Dr. Bob

Thanks Bob, I have been trying to find the thread for that. I saved that shot A LONG time ago. Wasn't there a "Worst Condition Thread" ?

As for the XT-2 settings. I have found that I have to dial it in
depending on the guitar I am using. But it is one great pedal.
