I recently brought back out the SD-1. Now it is probily a combination of all the level tweeking I play around with but the SD-1 has really shown itself above my other od.'s.

Back to topic now guys!!

I have resdiscovered the HM-2 and find it does have actually more sounds in it that what I first thought. It can even give you that kind of mellow overdrive. It does not sound to different from what a lot of old-school metal players of the early 80s used.

At the same time it can give you that MId-scooped sounds, and this is probibly what most people will use if for. I like that sound too, but will not use it often.

The HM-2 is great. Possibly my favourite Boss distortion (which is about right, considering it's on so many tracks that I like). It's the EQ that makes the pedal; so many variations and sounds in comparison to everything else around. Is there any other pedal that can do David Gilmour, My Bloody Valentine and Scandinavian Black Metal?
