I would like to know, are there more significant diferences between these two compact digital studios: New Boss BR-1600 and the same model, but 3 years older.
It�s possible to get the older one for a smaller price, but I have herd that for example the newer one comes with a 80GB hard drive, but the hard drive of the older one is only 40GB...
Do you know more diferences between them, for example wich version of the Firmware they have, etc.
I've understood that the main difference is the COSM models included. Version 2 had many more of these in additon to the double size harddisk. Since the built in software can be upgraded to version 2, the old version might be a bit of a bargain. Don't know if the built in disk is 2.5" or 3.5" but disks are very cheap anyway and it can't be impossible to replace it with an even bigger disk.
