I would say it is an attempt to make the pedal look older then it is with falsifying the serial number

It's a long dash version so it's probably somewhere between 008600 and 158600. I'm not able to see 07... anywhere but it would be a likely serial number.
I think $150 is a bit too much for an OD-1 in this condition though.
