Voltz_Shmoltz here again with another broken DD-3. You guys were so helpful in fixing a DD-3 last time i posted that i figured i'd give it another try.

This time around its the latest version, taiwanese made. Everything lights up and the pedal passes signal from input to direct out. But, to output - Nothing, both when its on or off. Checked, the switch is fine, and the wire going from the board to the switch is fine too. However im never getting any voltage between ground and (+) of the output...so i think the problem is somewhere on the board. But this one is tricky, small components, double sided... kind of a pain.

Just curious if anyone else had similar problems and possibly a solution?

thanks

G'day! Are you using it on a known good battery or properly regulated 9VDC supply? Overvoltage (from a crappy unregulated "9V" supply) has been known to cuase these symptoms in some pedals...

How about some clear close-up shots of the internals? Wiring, both sides of the board.

Definitely required.

Without schematics it's tricky (although both of my DD 2 fixes were essentially mechanical/physical faults that in the end were found without reference to the schematic).

I just can't find schematics for anything past the long chip version. I might try Roland spares UK actually.

This schematic says DD-2/3. Not sure if it is helpful.
