Seriously guys, put the crack pipes down. The BYOC Clone of the VB-2 for a mere $150 seems more enticing by the minute. Even if you get it pre-built for $230, its still a bargain...unles you must absolutely have them all (Boss pedals)....

Hi Jack
Well you could always put the crack pipe & a stash into the box it comes with, that's what makes it such a bargain.

I recently purchased an Ibanez TS10 Tubescreamer off ebay, here in Australia.
When I opend up the battery compartment, small bits of clippings fell
out, I decided to open it up & give it a good clean.
I put a new white A4 sheet of paper on the table, & gently tapped the loose stuff out of the pedal.

Well I got enough mull (grass) out of it for at least 1/2 a joint,
but I am a total non smoker.

The guy that owned it, must have been clipping his grass over or near it. I suppose I was lucky it was a local purchase, and that it didn't
have to go through customs & our sniffer dogs.

Maybe this is the reason, some Tubescreames sound sweeter than others, well I have heard so much hype about these that it has to be at least another relevant reason.

I can just see it now on a Modders Web Page.
To get that true sweet tubescreamer sound, send $75US plus postage for the genuine [screamin' blues mod] (no soldering or electonics exp, required)
just open the bottom plate, 4 screws on your pedal & insert the secret stash ziplock baggie.
For more sweetness, just unzip the baggie a little.

And can't you just see the reviews for it on Harmony Central.
Jack, we could be the next mega rich modders.

Well enough of this frivolity for now.

If I were going to spend that much, I'd get a CE-1. And I seriously doubt that I'd even ever spend that much on a CE-1.

/holding out hope for a cheap broken one

Woo hoo! Keep going. Someday I will be able to sell off part of my collection and pay off my mortgage.
