My projected setup is the following: (I'm a bass player)
TU-2 -> LM-2 -> GEB-7 -> NS-2 -> RV-3
In the effects loop of the NS-2:
NS-2 -> SG-1 -> AW-3 -> OBD-3 -> DC-3 -> CEB-3 -> BF-3 -> SYB-3 -> EH-2
FS-5L for my Ampeg SVT-IIP.
I'm welcome to any suggestions to another setup or any ways to utilize functionality and sound. |

G'day everybody - just discovered this site the other day, but as a fellow bass player I feel I can contribute in this case :)
Might I suggest you invest in an LS-2? Place everything but the TU-2 in a loop on the LS-2. This lets you do a number of things: 1) Cue up multiple effects and punch them all in at once. 2) Blend your clean and effected sounds. 3) Bypass the whole lot in an emergency!
Here's my rig - note that I have a few pedals which don't bypass the low freqs, which is why I set the LS-2 to blend.
SansAmp BDDI -> LS-2 -> amplifier
In the LS-2's 'A' loop (the 'B' loop is empty):
NS-2 -> SYB-3 -> Dunlop 105Q -> PH-2 -> CE-2B
I run a vintage Big Muff pi and my MT-2 through the NS-2.
The only problem is you need to be creative when hooking the whole thing up!
cheers, Chris

My pedalboard isn't only Boss-pedals but here's the setup anyway:
TW-1 -> CS-2 -> Barber BurnUnit EQ -> Tonebone Hot british -> Voodoo Lab Proctavia -> Voodoo Lab analog chorus -> T-rex Tremolo -> VB-2 -> Line6 DL4 -> MXR Microamp -> Loooper A/B/Y w. Tunermuteoutput -> Loooper A -> Digitech Digiverb -> Fender Bassman '59 Loooper B -> Fender Blues junior Loooper TM -> Yamaha YT2200 tuner
That's it! |

| My Pedalboard is as follows. Guitar>CS-2> SD-1> Tubeworks Real Tube OD> BF-2> PH-2> NF-1> CE-2> DD-2> DD-3> CH-1> Amp. This setup works but it needs a little tweaking . |

While we're here, what kind of pedalboard are you using?
Currently I have a carpeted piece of MDF with handles that cost less than $10 to put together, but has run out of room. I'm thinking of either getting a cheap bass or keyboard case, or aiming to build a high-rise board inside a mixer case.
The latter is more expensive, but with multiple loops in my setup, I really need to get the cables out of the way.
One last question, when I get my SansAmp RBI, I'll be parking all my fx in the loop (giving me even more options with my LS-2!). What's the best way to get a send and return cable sorted out? The only thing I can think of is to tape two guitar leads together...

| I'm using a Boss BCB-6. It's not exactly a perfect solution as there's no room for my wah and the 7th Boss pedal I'm using. |

I just bought a pedal board off ebay. The dimensions are 34" x 21" x 7" and it cost me $149. I then built a shelving unit to elevate the pedals I don't really use on and off which are on all the time. I put two signal flex ps-9's underneath the shelf and have cut holes in the top shelf to run cables to the NS-2 loop and whatever. I've taken pictures of it but have yet to develop them. When I do I'll post a link or something.
The setup is like this though: OUT <- [RV-3]<-[NS-2]<-*[EH-2]*<-[GEB-7]<-[LM-2]<-[TU-2]<- IN
<-[SYB-3]<-[BF-3]<-[CEB-3]<-[DC-3]<-[ODB-3]<-[AW-3]<-[SG-1]<-
All though I don't have the SG-1 yet, that's where its going to go. That is the exact pedal setup. The GEB-7 goes under the EH-2 and into the NS-2. The NS-2 send goes to the SG-1 and returns through the EH-2. |

| I use a GCX Switching system to switch my pedals in or out of the signal chain and also to change programs on my Roland synth and TC voicelive. I have a Voss Wah and Ernie Ball VP before the GCX and the pedal loops are: SD1, Line6 POD, GE7, CE-2, PH-1r, BF-2 and DM-2 I then have an NS-2 between the GCX and my Tech21 Trademark 120 amp. I have a Quad Direct Box where I send the signal from the synth, the voicelive and a RC-20 direct to the PA. |

| Those Pearl effects are actually very good and they can be had for next to nothing. If I wasn't so deep into the whole Boss thing I would pick up a couple of those before some famous guy starts using them and prices escalate. |

I've been thinking about getting a few of them myself, but now since we're talking about them, I'm sure the value will soon increase beyond what I would like to pay! |
