Hi Brutalitarian Supremacy
I'm going to beg you for lots of internal pictures of your Box of Rock.
Can I ask you what you think of this pedal? It uses cascading MOSFET stages to get it's drive/dirt & boost.
I have heard lots of good things about it, but conflicting reports of the way the circuit works.
very expensive out here in OZ, in fact, much too expensive to buy on a whim, just to test out.
Regards Dr. Bob

that's an affirmitive Dr. Bob on the pics....just give me a few days (our rehearsal space is 2hrs away)to retrieve my board and i'll give ya some gut shots of the BOR...not to sound like a broken record but the BOR is really freakin "close" to a dimed JTM45...never played em side by side but our local Sam Ash has a few JTM5's for sale(about 10 of em!)and after cranking a couple of em i'm convinced(at least to my ears)they're close...the only gripe I can see folks having w/ this pedal is the low end factor...she has a good bit of it and no way to dial it out without killing treble(i;m an Orange man and low end is my raison d' etre)...now the boost side of this thing is a monster...from my understanding it's based on the Super Hard-On only a tad bit darker...about 3 Mirco Amps in crammed in one box!...overall worth every penny I spent on her!!!....BUT...if your not using a pedal as your primary source of distortion and just wanna goose your tubes into tonal bliss...I highly reccommend Fulltones OCD!!!!! HANDS DOWN THE CLOSET THING TO A TUBE AMP IN A BOX!!!!!!!!!!PERIOD!!!!! |

Hey Kelmaur, I've been thinking of getting a wireless, how does the Nady sound? Do you have any probs with dropping out, interference or tone loss? |

Sick of the clutter on the floor, went a bought a behringer pedalboard. 12 pedals is a bit much and plan to trim it down, and reduce the the amount of wiring, but at the moment its... cs2>sd2>fz3*>xt2>ft2>ge7(twin quiet mod)>ph1r>ns2>eh2>hf2>cs2>dd3>Kustom 12A tube amp
the fz3 has a buffer removed and the transistors replaced with those ones labeled 5117 |

Hi Christo, do boss pedals fit fine in that Behringer board? |

Hi boys and girls
I do not have a proper chain as I'm at the first stages of gathering pedals, so I'll ask you all for some advice. I have several pedals right now and a rough idea of how I should chain them, but I could be mistaken and don't want to spend rehearsing time experimenting different pedal placements.
These are my pedals today: - Ibanez Turbo Tube Screamer TS9DX - Behringer Ultra Tremolo UT100 - Rocktron Hypnotic Flange - Boss DD6 (expecting it from evilbay in two weeks!)
I'm thinking of putting the UT100 first as it may cut a lot of signal, then the Ibanez to boost it and finally the DD6. Don't know where to place the Rocktron though:
Guitar----UT100----TS9DX----DD6----amp
And if you have enough spare time, I'm thinking in buying these in the near future:
- Boss Tuner TU2 or Korg Chromatic Tuner - Boss Chorus Ensemble CE-5
Thanks in advance! |
