Hi recently i stupidly put a to powerful plug in my boss mt-2.
It smells burnt, i have opened it up but im new to guitar pedals, could anyone tell me how to fix it or what to buy

Welcome to the forum!
The fastest way to help would be if you would open your pedal carefully and take some pictures to show what is visible inside!
How did you connect the socket by the way?

It just fit it was 9v but the input was wrong did'nt look

Ahh... but a closeup of that spot will tell us heaps.
I'm betting it is comnponent number D006 ??
Does the pedal still work on a battery?

OK... so unsolder D006 and try it again on a battery - take care to ensure you don't touch the battery terminals around the wrong way. D006 is the reverse protection diode and is not required for normal operation from a battery - but without it the pedal has no protection.
If it works with D006 removed, you will need to replace D006 (I'll have to look up the part number later). If it does not work with D006 removed, there is something more drastic wrong. Post some detailed pics of the area around D006 would be the next thing to do...

Was the power pack higher in voltage?
What voltage was it?
Or was it reverse voltage, or reverse & a higher voltage?
If you answer these questions, it will help us figure out how much more of your pedal, was possibly damaged.
If you were real lucky, D6 went short circuit.
When you remove D6, can you please measure it & see if it's shorted.
Remember:
Dr. Bob's Theorem Number 2506, Op-Amps HATE Reversed VOLTAGES... 
Taken from a similar & recent problem with DD-3.
